It’s been a busy summer at the food bank – hungry people, and families, needing help, and children on holiday. Naturally, we couldn’t operate without generous donations from individuals, organisations and businesses.
Thanks to them, food stocks in our warehouse are meeting demand, for which many thanks to our supporters. But, naturally, we have to be prepared amidst such political uncertainty as autumn approaches.
What we need
We currently want tinned vegetables, rice, pasta, sauce, long life milk, long life juice, jam and biscuits – but all donations are naturally welcome to maintain our stocks. As one of Britain’s busiest food banks, staff and our dedicated volunteers are working hard to serve our many clients – and scores of new ones as the year progresses – while raising funds to help those in need.
